ANDREW CORCORAN, Energy Analyst

Andrew Corcoran specializes in energy and environmental impact analysis. He is a member of MEI's energy audit team, and has conducted hundreds of audits on a wide range of industrial, commercial, and residential facilities. Mr. Corcoran provides his expertise to a broad range of areas that include electric utility economics; power plant design, siting and operation; load forecasting; alternative generating technologies; and the economics of carbon trading. Additional areas of expertise include economic impact assessment, energy scenario analysis, and the economics of geothermal extraction.

Mr. Corcoran is an active member of the Statewide Evaluator Team retained by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission under Pennsylvania Act 129. In this capacity, he is engaged in extensive site visits to audit reported savings under low income energy efficiency programs and to conduct surveys supporting baseline energy usage. He also assists in the development of the Commonwealth's Technical Resource Manual establishing the protocols to measure and verify savings from energy efficiency and demand response measures and programs.
