Mondre Energy Strengthens Executive Team with Two Senior Staff Appointments

(June 14, 2010—PHILADELPHIA) Mondre Energy, Inc. (MEI), a leading energy strategies firm based in Philadelphia, has added two executives who strengthen the firm’s offerings in energy analysis, planning, procurement, and management.

Stan ForczekStanley R. Forczek has joined MEI as Vice President, Energy Procurement and Management. Mr. Forczek has more than two decades of experience in energy, including more than 15 years with Amtrak where his responsibilities included oversight of a 1,200-mile electric transmission network and power pool, and an annual energy budget of more than $300 million. Mr. Forczek has extensive experience with electric regulatory bodies and several State Commissions on issues such as market development, transmission utilization, transmission overbuild, and generation development. Over his career, Mr. Forczek has procured approximately 500 megawatts of electricity and more than 580,000 decatherms of natural gas. He holds an Executive MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and earned a BS in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Steve MillerSteven F. Miller has joined MEI as Vice President, Product Development/Engineering. Mr. Miller is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania with extensive experience in all phases of industrial and commercial utility systems planning and evaluation, including: heat pumps, heat recovery, process and space cooling, cogeneration, and alternative energy systems. He provides a strong combination of technical and financial expertise. Mr. Miller’s background includes designing and managing industrial energy audits and conservation programs, with an emphasis on technical and financial evaluation, scope development, and vendor selection. Mr. Miller managed natural gas procurement and developed a natural gas price hedging strategy for an industrial facility that consumed more than eight billion cubic feet of natural gas per year. Mr. Miller holds an MS in Finance from Drexel University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
