MEI Receives 2012 Excellence Award from Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce

(October 2011) Mondre Energy has been honored by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce with a 2012 Excellence Award. MEI won in the category of Sustainable Business, recognizing the firm’s success in helping its clients use less energy and find alternative and sustainable energy sources.

"It is a tremendous honor to receive this award," said Judith L. Mondre in a press release, "not only because it recognizes the hard work of the entire MEI staff, but because it focuses much needed attention on the importance and benefits of energy efficiency and sustainability on our economy and environment.

"It is gratifying to work with clients and to discover opportunities for them to reduce their energy use or to find sustainable sources of energy," Ms. Mondre said in the release. "When clients implement greater energy efficiency and sustainability practices, it often means they can devote more of their resources to their core missions."
